Newton Mayor’s Community Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for May 29, 2013 at Boston College, McElroy Commons at 7:15 a.m. This 39th Memorial occasion will feature guest speaker United States Senator Elizabeth Warren. Tickets are $25 and proceeds go to the Foundation for Racial, Ethnic and Religious Harmony.
At last year’s breakfast, current Mayor Setti Warren honored past beloved Mayor Teddy Mann by renaming the event the Honorable Theodore D. Mann Memorial Community Prayer Breakfast. This is an uplifting event and a community favorite. The meal is always delicious, prepared by Boston College Food Services.
