On Thursday, May 31, 2012, the Green Decade/Newton held a celebration the New Art Center to honor founding members, Barbara Herson & Brook Lipsitt. Both honorees have been long time contributors helping Green Decade in its ongoing collaboration with city leaders on a wide array of environmental issues. It was a beautiful party in a fabulous setting. Musical entertainment by Jim’s Big Ego and a lively auction. Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s contributed plentiful platters of food.
