A native Bostonian, I have lived in Newton for over 20 years. I currently serve on the Board for www.BeautifulNewtonville.org. Between 1998 and 2009, I served as PTO Co-President in 3 schools and served on 3 curriculum advisory committees for Newton Public Schools. With my strong affinity to technology, I assisted in the creation of the Newton North High School web site, www.NorthPTSO.org and the community web site www.OurNewton.org.

Because of my involvement in  serving the  Newton community, I have developed a reputation as a respected and effective participant in local affairs. I will use these resources and connections to your advantage.

I am a people person and my experience both as a teacher and as a leader in the PTO community, have allowed me to communicate and negotiate in a wide variety of situations with a diverse group of people. My Affinity to Boston and Surround
The Greater Boston Area is my backyard. I have been living in Newton for over 20 years and I love life in Newton.  With such a close proximity to the city yet the advantages of the small neighborhoods, Newton is a tapestry of smaller villages.

I grew up in Melrose, a lovely little suburban city 20 miles north of Boston. As great as my home town is, I lusted to escape to the city. After graduating from Boston College, I lived and worked in Cambridge for over 20 years. When my husband and I married and had a child, we moved to Newton. I love my community and the surrounding Greater Boston area.
